h = 4 (side of the rectangular which is perpendicular and acting as the height for the triangle)

=10

Take few seconds analyzing the given figure. The parameters required for finding area of rectangle and triangle.
A: Area of rectangle is m = 4*3 = 12
B: Area of triangle is 0.5*base*height, where base is 5 and height will be equal to height of rectangle.
Area is n = 0.5*5*4 = 10
