Let us take a rectangle ABCD of length 4 cm and breadth 3 cm
Diagonal of the rectangle BC = \(\sqrt{( 3^2 + 4^2)} = 5\)
Now,
Half the perimeter of the same rectangle = \(\frac{{2 * ( 3 + 4)}}{ 2} = 7\)
Therefore, QTY B > QTY A

let the width be x, hence for a rectangle length can be x+1
half the perimeter = x+x+1
while the diagonal, using pythagoras = sqr(2x^2+1),
try any value of x, The quantity in Column B is greater will hold
half the perimeter = x+x+1

try any value of x, The quantity in Column B is greater will hold
