XYZ is an Isosceles Right Triangle with XZ = ZY
and DZEF is a Rectangle with DZ = EF = L (say) and EZ = DF = B (say)
In triangle XDF;
FD = XD = B
XF = \(\sqrt{2}\)B
In triangle YEF;
YE = EF = L
YF = \(\sqrt{2}\)L
Col. A: DZ + ZE + EF + FD
Col. B: XZ + YZ
Col. A: L + B + L + B
Col. B: (B + L) + (L + B)
Col. A: 2(L + B)
