But the equation says y = -8/7*x right? in that case as y-intercept of line is 0, line will pass through origin. What am I not understanding?

y-axis at 1. So the coordinates of point P are (0, 1). Now we have to
determine the coordinates of point R. We know the y-coordinate is 0,
so let’s stick that into the equation (the slope and the y-intercept are
constant; they don’t change).
y = mx + b
\(0=-\frac{8}{7}x+1\)
Solving
\(x=\frac{7}{8}
\)
So the coordinates of point R are (7/8 , 0). That means OR, in Quantity A, is equal to , and OP, in Quantity B, is equal to 1. The answer is (B).
