If \(f(x) = 13\), then we can write: \(x^2+2x-2 = 13\)
To solve this equation, let's first subtract \(13\) from both sides of the equation to get: \(x^2+2x-15 = 0\)
Factor to get: \((x-3)(x+5) = 0\)
When we solve we get EITHER \(x = 3\) OR \(x = -5\)
If \(x = 3\), then the two quantities are equal
If \(x = -5\), then Quantity B is greater
Answer: D
