The equation is in the form of \(a^2 - b^2\) = (a+b) (a-b)

Step 2: Calculation
(x+5 + y−3) (x+5-y +3) =0

(x+y+2) (x-y+8) = 0

(2+2) (x-y+8) = 0

4(x-y+8) = 0

hence, x-y = -8

B is correct

\((X+5)^2-(y-3)^2=0\)

\(X+y=2\)

From eqn 2:-X=2-y substitute this in eqn 1

\((2-y+5)^2-(y-3)^2=0\)

\((7-y)^2 -(y-3)^2\)

\((7-y)^2=y^2-14y+49\)

\((Y-3) ^2=y^2-6y+9\)

Subtracting the two expression above

\(Y^2-14y+49-[y^2 -6y -9]=0\)

We got \(-8y+40=0\)

\(Y=5\)

Then \(x =2-5\)

\(X=-3\)

QtyA is x-y which equal -3-5=-8

QTY B 0

Hence ans is B

Bruteforcing and just solving seems pretty time consuming -- Is there any other method besides foiling and substituting to solve?
