Imo D. While we're told that both populations have a mean of 56, we're given no information about the distributions. If the distributions are identical normal curves (bell-curved), then p will be greater because it's in a higher percentile. However, if both distributions are uniform (i.e. every value is 56), then p and q will be equal. Also, if distribution A is uniform and distribution B is normal, then q will be greater.
Thus it's impossible to determine the relationship between p and q and the answer is D.

So in A distribution the score is closer to the mean --> so it could be that the SD is lesser.
in the second distribution its farther off --> so SD can be more.
But there is no way of being certain because there is no information about the population, or SD. Assuming that the population is same, then B is greater, because the SD ideally should be higher.
