For finding the sum of first 50 numbers understand that the numbers are in an arithmetic progression,
Now,
Find the average of the first 50 whole numbers by (1+50)/2= 25.5
to find the sum 25.5 *50=1275 which is smaller than B
Answer is B
Now,
Find the average of the first 50 whole numbers by (1+50)/2= 25.5

Formula to remember :
Sum in arithmetic progression consisting of \(n\) nos when the first term is \(a\) & the last term is \(l\)
Sn = \(\frac{n(a+l)}{2}\)
Qt A
\(a = 1\) & \(l = 50\)
Sn = \(\frac{50(1+50)}{2}\) \(= 1275\)
Qt B > Qt A
Answer B
