I tried to solve it as follows
1- multiply 10 for both sides
2- subtract 6x from both sides
We will have:
Then I concluded that if I substitute 0, A is greater. If I substitute 2 B will be greater.
The answer is D.
Now my question here :
Can we use choosing number strategy after using the + & - strategy? we can't mix them?

We can solve this question using matching operations
Given:
Quantity A: \(\frac{6x+5}{10}\)
Quantity B: \(x\)
Multiply both quantities by \(10\)\(\) to get:
Quantity A: \(6x+5\)
Quantity B: \(10x\)
Subtract \(6x\) from both quantities to get:
Quantity A: \(5\)
Quantity B: \(4x\)
Divide both quantities by \(4\) to get:
Quantity A: \(1.25\)
Quantity B: \(x\)
If x = 0, then Quantity A is greater
If x = 2, then Quantity B is greater
If x = 1.25, then the quantities are equal.
Answer: D

x can be an integer positive or negative. However, could be also a fraction.
