Let O be the point of intersection between the lines QT and SP. Given than T is located in the middle of S and V, the triangles QOP and TOS are equivalent.
The quantity A denotes the area of PQTV. And, the quantity B represents the area of POTV+TOS. Given the aforementioned equivalency, Quantity B can also be written as POTV+QOP=PQTV. Hence, the answer is C.
