The key word here is distinct
36 = (2)(2)(3)(3)
The prime factorization of 36 has two 2's and two 3's, 36 has just two distinct prime factors: 2 and 3
22 = (2)(11)
So, the distinct factors of 22 are 2 and 11
We get:
QUANTITY A: 2 + 3 = 5
QUANTITY B: 2 + 11 = 13
Answer: B
