Take easy numbers to solve..
A) triangle - let sides other than hypotenuse of a right angled triangle be 20 and 1, so area is 1/2*20*1=10 and perimeter is nearly 41, slightly more but less than 42.
Let sides other than the hypotenuse of a right angled triangle be 5 and 4, area is 10 and perimeter is around 5+4+5.5=14.5
B) rectangle - let sides be 10 and 1, then area is 10*1=10 and the perimeter is 10+1+10+1=22..
This is between the two perimeters above, 14.5 and 41.
So we cannot answer for sure..
