Line M has equation y - 5x - 4 = 0 --> y = 5x + 4
4 > 7/2, hence correct ans is option B

Key property: The y-intercept of a line is the corresponding y-value when we plug x = 0 into the equation of that line.
Line L has equation 3x + 2y = 7
Plug x = 0 into the equation to get: 3(0) + 2y = 7
Simplify: 2y = 7
Divide both sides of the equation by 2 to get: y = 3.5
Line M has equation y - 5x - 4 = 0
Plug x = 0 into the equation to get: y - 5(0) - 4 = 0
Simplify: y - 4 = 0
Add 4 to both sides of the equation to get: y = 4
We have:
QUANTITY A: 3.5
QUANTITY B: 4
Answer: B
