Total Rejected Bulbs: 80*(5/8)=50
Total Rejected AND defective: 80*(3/16)=15
This means that out of the 50 defective bulbs, 15 are rejected and thus not sold. Therefore, 50-15=35 of the defective bulbs must not be rejected and thus sold.
