Given: \(x^2 − 3x − 10 = 0\)
Factor: \((x-5)(x+2)= 0\)
If \(x-5 =0\), then \(x = 5\)
If \(x+2 =0\), then \(x = -2\)
So, we have:
QUANTITY A: \(-2\)
QUANTITY B: \(-3\)
\(-2 > -3\), so the answer is A
