The quickest approach here is to simply calculate each value with your on-screen calculator.
Alternatively, we can rewrite each power with the same base. In this case, 64 and 16 can be expressed as powers of 4 and then simplified (using the Power of a Power rule) to get:
QUANTITY A: \( 64^3 = (4^3)^3 = 4^9\)
QUANTITY B: \(16^5 = (4^2)^5 = 4^{10}\)
Answer: B
