If we raise QA to the power of 2 we do have a
And in QB we do have a^2
now the question looks like as the following
Now, we do know from the stem that a is a fraction such as 1/2
we do know also that a fraction raised to the power will be come even smaller:1/2,1/4,1/16
So for example QA is 1/2 and QB will be 1/4.
Therefore 1/2>1/4
A is the answer
And in QB we do have a^2
now the question looks like as the following

\(a\) |
\(a^2\) |
