here from the deduction we can make above in the figure
Apply the Pythagorean theorem and you do have 6^2+h=10^2
36+h^2=100
solve
h=8
Area of quadrilateral is \(\frac{b1+b2}{2} * h
\)
\(\frac{4+10}{2} * 8=56\)
The answer is C
