Just because you don’t know the values of –m and n doesn’t mean you can’t determine which is greater. Using point A and the origin, you can find the slope of segment AB: rise/run=- 2/3. Now plug in coordinates for point B that will give you the same slope; the easiest way to pick them would be to simply rise −2 and run 3, bringing you to the point (m, n) = (3, −2). So –m = −3, and n = −2, and Quantity B is greater.
