A question like this is always simple unless the students forget that when a variable is raised to the power of two, the underneath number can be either positive OR negative
Now, \(z^2=144\) can be +12 or -12
QB is 12
A can be also 12 and the answer is C but also -12 and the answer is B
In the end, the answer is D
Now, \(z^2=144\) can be +12 or -12
