The formula for circumference of a circle is C = π * d, where d = diameter of the circle.
Let x = diameter of the larger circle, and y = diameter of one of the two smaller circles.
Given that the sum of the diameters of the two smaller circles is equivalent to the diameter of the larger circle, x-y = the diameter of the other smaller circle.
The circumference of the larger circle = π * x
The circumference of the 1st smaller circle = π * y
The circumference of the 2nd smaller circle = π * (x-y)
The sum of the circumferences of the smaller circles = π * y + π * (x-y) = π * x = the circumference of the larger circle
