Probability values are always between 0 (impossible) and 1 (certain).
Let q = 0.1 --> q * (1 - q) = 0.1 * 0.9 = 0.09, which is less than 0.1
Let q = 0.2 --> q * (1 - q) = 0.2 * 0.8 = 0.16, which is more than 0.1
