Okay, first multiply both quantities by 2 to get:
Quantity A: 2 + 3x
Quantity B: 2 + 6x
Subtract 2 from both quantities to get:
Quantity A: 3x
Quantity B: 6x
Subtract 3x from both quantities to get:
Quantity A: 0
Quantity B: 3x
Since x can be positive or negative (or even zero), there's no way to determine which quantity is greater.
