Substitute 0
(x-2)(x-5)(x+9) = 90 && (x+1)(x-4)(x-2) = 8
A is greater
Substitute 5
(x-2)(x-5)(x+9) = 0 && (x+1)(x-4)(x-2) = 18
B is greater
Since no condition exists to constrain the value of x, the answer is
D. The relationship cannot be determined from the information given

Let's simplify while assuming first (x-2) positive:
We can divided by x-2 both quantities, thereby we'll get
Quantity A: (x-5)(x+9)
Quantity B: (x+1)(x-4)
Let's multiply,
Quantity A: \(x^2\) + 4x - 45
Quantity B: \(x^2\) - 3x + 4
After subtracting \(x^2\) from both quantities and then simplifying,
Quantity A: 7x
Quantity B: 41
As we don't know what is x, so it's just CANNOT BE DETERMINE FROM THE INFORMATION GIVEN.
Also, if we assume (x-2) negative, we'll come up with same situation.
Thus, Choice D correct.
