Their share is in proportion of = 5:2:3:4
Total money invested = 250 + 100 + 150 + 200 = 700
Total earning = 1400
Profit=700
At the end of two months, they all shared half of the total profit in proportion with their contribution.
So they share 350 in the proportion of 5:2:3:4
Sherry - 514 * 350 = 125
Tom - 214 * 350 = 50
Kim - 314 * 350 = 75
Jolene - 414 * 350 = 100
Notice, what we are asked to find : which partner(s) got less than a seventh of the total profit ? So we need people who earned less than 100
