(a) \(a^2+b^2+ab= a^2+b^2+ab+(ab-ab)\)
(b) \((a+b)^2+(a-b)^2=2(a^2+b^2)\)
From (a) we have equation \(\frac{(a+b)^2-ab}{35}\)
From (b):
(1): ab = \(\frac{(1+\sqrt{0.5})}{(1-\sqrt{0.5})}*\frac{(1-\sqrt{0.5})}{(1+\sqrt{0.5})}\)= 1
(2): (a+b) = \(\frac{(1+\sqrt{0.5})^2+(1-\sqrt{0.5})^2}{(1-0.5)}=\frac{2(1.5)}{0.5}\)= 6
Combine (1),(2): \(\frac{6^2-1}{35}\)=1

Combine (1),(2): \(\frac{6^2-1}{35}\)=1
