In the given figure
(2x + 40)° = (5x - 35)° (Opposite Angles)
=> 5x - 2x = 40 + 35
=> 3x = 75
=> x \(\frac{75}{3}\) = 25
(2x + 40)° + (2y + 24)° = 180° (Supplementary Angles)
=> 2*25 + 40 + 2y + 24 = 180
=> 2y + 114 = 180
=> 2y = 66
=> y = \(\frac{66}{2}\) = 33
So, Answer will be E
