Let total houses sold in 2004 be x Given: In 2004, 2,400 condos sold, 15% of the total housing units sold that year. so, 15% of x = 2400 (15/100)*x = 2400 => x = 2400 * 100 / 15 = 16,000 Given: If 25% of the homes sold in 2004 were four-bedroom houses => four-bedroom houses = 25% of x = 25% of 16,000 = (25/100) * 16,000 = 4,000 So, Answer is B Hope it helps!

15% of the total housing units = 2400 Total housing units = 16,000
four-bedroom houses = 25% of 16,000 = 4000
