GIVEN: y% of x is y
In other words: y/100 of x = y
In other words: (y/100)(x) = y
Multiply both sides by 100 to get: xy = 100y
Divide both sides by y to get: x = 100
QUESTION: What is x% of x?
In other words: x/100 of x = ?
In other words: 100/100 of 100 = ?
In other words: (1)(100) = 100
Answer: A
