Regular six-sided figure means it is a regular hexagon. Now, a hexagon is comprised of 6 equilateral triangles.
Area of an equilateral triangle = \(\frac{rt 3}{4} \times side^2\)
side = 8.
Area of hexagon = \(6 \times \frac{ rt 3}{4} \times side^2\)
\(= 6 \times \frac{ rt3}{4} \times 8^2\)
\(= 6 \times \frac{ rt 3}{4} \times 64\)
\(= 6 \times \sqrt{3} \times 16\)
\(= 96 \times \sqrt{3} \)

Area of hexagon = 3 sqrt3/2 * side^2
Thus, 3 sqrt3/2 *64
On solving, we get 96 sqrt3.
Thus, E is the answer.
