in terms of full tank volume A=5B/4
in terms of mileage per gallon A=3B/4
hence, x = 5B/4 * 3B/4 = 15B/16, model A can travel 15/16 times as many miles as model B (get rid of B in the numerator) and answer is 15/16 (D)
