Let's assume that 25 cents paper sold are x
We know that total papers sold are 100 => 40 cents papers sold = 100-x
Price of x 25 cents news paper = 25*x
Price of (100-x) 40 cents news paper = 40*(100-x)
Total Price = 25x + 40*(100-x) = 2800 [$28 = 2800 cents]
25x + 4000 - 40x = 2800
4000 - 2800 = 15x
15x = 1200
=> x = 80
So, Answer is A
