For 2 gallons of paint 450 sq. feet of surface can be painted.
The for x gallons of paint 1200 sq. feet of surface can be painted.
2/450 = x/1200.
x = (1200*2)/450 = 5.33 gallons.
Least whole number of gallons required to paint 1200 sq. feet of surface = 6, therefore option E is the right answer.
