Let's take total no of adults = 100
10% adults have no children = 10
so 90% adults have children = 90
Ratio = \(\frac{90}{10}\)
= 9:1

Let's say there is a TOTAL of 100 adults at the mall.
10% of the adults at the mall have no children
10% of 100 = 10, so 10 adults have NO children.
This means the number of adults WITH children = 100 - 10 = 90
What is the ratio of adults with children to adults without children at the mall?
The ratio = 90 to 10
= 9 : 1
Answer: E
