If erasers cost $0.25 each, at most how many erasers can be [#permalink]

Even make it simpler: You have n dollar in your pocket, and you want to know how many of an item E ( Eraser) you can buy with your money. What you're gonna do? You simply divide your money to the price of that item ( Eraser ). In this example, the price of eraser is less than one dollar 0.25 or 25/100 so we have: n dollar divided by 25/100 which means n times 100/25. So, you just need to flip the fraction to get the answer.

n / 25/100 = n x 100/25 = 4n
