x = \(2^b - (8^8 + 8^6)\)
x = \(2^b - (2^{24} + 2^{18})\)
x = \(2^b - 2^{18}(2^6 + 1)\)
We can assume \((2^6 + 1)\) as \(2^6\) only
Therefore,
x = \(2^b - 2^{18}(2^6)\)
x = \(2^b - 2^{24}\)
\(b = 24\)
Hence, option B
