How many integers less than 1000 have no factors (other than 1) in common with 1000?
Number of integers less than 1000 = 1000 - 1 = 999, Factors of 1000 are 2^3 * 5^3. So just check for prime factors 2 and 5. Factors of 2 are 1/2 the numbers from 2 to 998 = 499 and Factors of 5, but not 2 are 5,15,...995 = 100 So 999 - 499 - 100 = 400.
Answer is A) 400
