\($2.50\) for the first mile and \($1.00\) for additional three miles or a portion of three miles.
\(11\) miles \(= 1 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 1\)
So total charge \(= 2.50 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 6.50\)
