It's a simple ratio question. Let B and G be the total number of boys and girls, respectively. Then,
\(\frac{B}{G}=\frac{5}{3}\)
\(B=\frac{5G}{3}\)
Putting \(G=24\), we get
\(B=5*24/3\)
\(B=40\)
Now, the total number of students will be 40+24=64.
\(\frac{B}{G}=\frac{5}{3}\)
\(B=\frac{5G}{3}\)
Putting \(G=24\), we get
\(B=5*24/3\)
\(B=40\)
Now, the total number of students will be 40+24=64.
