a5=3
a2=a1+a3/2
a3=a2+a4/2
a4=a3+a5/2
solve for a2 in terms of a3
a2=a3+1/2
and
a4=a3+3/2
so 2a3= a3+1/2 + 3+a3/2
solve for a3= 2
D is the answer
a5=3
a2=a1+a3/2
a3=a2+a4/2
a4=a3+a5/2
solve for a2 in terms of a3
a2=a3+1/2
and
a4=a3+3/2
so 2a3= a3+1/2 + 3+a3/2
solve for a3= 2
D is the answer
