This is a simple unit conversion question.
If x lb = n g, we then have x/n lb/g, or, more usefully, n/x g/lb.
Then we can see that p lb at a rate of n/x g/lb gives us:
p lb * n/x g/lb
From here just cancel the units out:
p lb * n/x g/lb = pn/x g = np/x g. Answer E.
