The last collection of questions for the GRE Quant - 2019

At Tyler High School, there are twice as many girls than boys on the yearbook staff. At one staff meeting, the percentage of girls attending was twice the percentage of boys. What percent of those attending were boys?

A) 20

B) 25

C) 30

D) 33

E) 50

Does the GRE use the words percent and percentage with different meanings that are consistent?

I think what is confusing here is the omission of all students needing to attend.

Boys = 50
Girls = 100

If 80% of Girls show up and 40% of boys, we have:

20 boys and 80 girls, i.e., 25% ...

Confusing question IMHO
