We can create the equations:
X = 12,000 + Y/2 and Z = 15,000 + X/2
It is given that: X = 27,500
So, we have:
27,500 = 12,000 + Y/2
=> 15,500 = Y/2
=> 31,000 = Y
We also have:
Z = 15,000 + 27,500/2
Z = 15,000 + 13,750 = 28,750
Thus, X < Z < Y.
Answer: E
