Given that 6 robots can make 6 devices in 6 hours and all robots work at the same constant rate and we need to find how many hours will it take for 12 robots to make 60 devices?
Problem is based on the concept of Rate and Work, where
Rate * Time = Work Done
6 robots can make 6 devices in 6 hours
Let Rate of 1 Robot be R
=> Rate of 6 Robots = 6*R = 6R
Work done = 6 devices
Time = 6 Hours
=> Rate * Time = Work Done
=> 6R * 6 = 6
=> R = \(\frac{1}{6}\)
How many hours will it take for 12 robots to make 60 devices
Rate of 12 Robots = 12R = 12 * \(\frac{1}{6}\) = 2
Work done = 60 devices
=> Rate * Time = Work Done
=> 2 * Time = 60
=> Time = \(\frac{60}{2}\) = 30 hours
So, Answer will be E
