The answer is (B).
Average Speed = Total Distance / Total Time Time while going = 600/400 = 1.5 hours Time while returning = 600/500 = 1.2 hours --> Speed = (600 + 600)/ (1.5 + 1.2) = 1200/2.7 = 444.44 miles per hour
