The cost of producing the first 200 pens = 6 * 200 = 1200
The cost of producing the remaining 800 pens = 4.5 * 800 = 3600
The revenue from selling the pens = 9 * 1000 = 9000
The gross profit = 9000 - 1200 - 3600 = 4200
