Let B = Bob's weight and S = Sara's weight.
Since Bob is 30 pounds heavier than Sara, B = 30 + S.
Bob's weight after gaining 30 pounds is B + 30.
Sara's weight after gaining 30 pounds is S + 30.
B + 30 = 1.25(S + 30) = 1.25S + 37.5
Substitute B = 30 + S:
(30 + S) + 30 = 1.25S + 37.5
0.25S = 22.5
S = 90
B = 120
