The information is traced as shown in the figure above, which is a right angled triangle. Applying Pythagoras theorem, it can be observed that $\((7+x)^2+24^2=30^2 \Rightarrow(7+x)^2=900-576=324\)$.
Hence, $\(7+x=18 \Rightarrow x=11\)$. Therefore, the correct answer is $B$.
