The 3 angles of a triangle add to 180°
The ratio of the degree measures of the angles of a triangle is 2 : 3 : 4
2 + 3 + 4 = 9
So, take 180° and divide by 9 to get: 20°
So, the ratio 2 : 3 : 4 = (2)(20°) : (3)(20°) : (4)(20°)
= 40° : 60° : 80°
Which of the following is the sum of the degree measures of the smallest and largest angles?
40° + 80° = 120°
