If y= 30degrees then this is a 30-60-90 triangle 30-60-90 triangle has respective opposite side in the ratio of \(X:X\sqrt{3}:2X\) here side opposite 30 degree = 2x - 3 so side opposite 90 degree must be 2(2x - 3) we already have side opposite 90 degree = x+6 therefore 2(2x-3) = x+6 solve for x; x = 4 (B)
